Spirit of the Danube deck plans

MS Spirit of the Danube (built in 2022) is the second of Saga Group's newbuild riverboats, together with the sisterships Spirit of the Rhine (2021), Spirit of the Moselle (2025), Spirit of the Main (TBA), and Spirit of the Elbe (TBA). These vessels are operated by the UK-based subsidiary Saga Cruises.

Saga UK's river ships operate under charter, with the vessels owned by various companies (shipowners and cruise lines). Saga UK's ocean-going ships are Spirit of Discovery (2019) and Spirit of Adventure (2020).

The Saga Spirit of the Danube cruise ship deck plan features a total of 95 staterooms for 182 passengers, served by 40 crew and staff. The ship has 4 passenger decks and facilities including a wellness area (small gym on Deck 1), Panoramic Restaurant (Deck 2, with adjacent galley/kitchen), Panoramic Bar Lounge (Deck 3, functioning as a music salon, cinema, and lecture hall, and featuring a grand piano, dance floor, outdoor terrace seating, and a library/reading corner), Foyer (Deck 3 lobby area with Reception Desk, Tour Desk, and portside/starboard entrances), and an a la carte Restaurant (aft on Deck 3, 36 seats, complimentary).

The Sundeck (Deck 4) includes an outdoor Terrace Lounge (also used for alfresco dining with deck barbecues and bar service), the Wheelhouse (retractable navigation bridge), a shaded seating area (with four retractable awnings, deckchairs, and tables), a large sunbathing area (with loungers and low tables), a deck games area (with a giant chessboard), and an aft-located Jacuzzi (outdoor whirlpool hot tub).

A glass elevator (midship passenger lift) connects all cabin decks. All decks are also interconnected by stairways (forward, midship, and aft), including a grand staircase in the midship Atrium.
