EUROPA DECK (4th floor)
Tendering Areas (portside and starboard ship entrances)
Europa Restaurant is the primary dining venue aboard MS Europa. It offers a seating capacity large enough to accommodate essentially all passengers, with tables arranged for 2, 4, 6, and even larger groups (including an 8- and a 10-person table), which allows flexibility whether you travel alone, as a couple, or in a group. Dining at Europa Restaurant includes breakfast and lunch (usually with a more casual or buffet-style or lighter-menu option) as well as elegantly served dinner. The dinner menu in particular reflects the ship’s commitment to high culinary standards: international gourmet cuisine with menus that change daily, often including multiple courses (starters, soups, mains, desserts) — and there is also a lighter “Cuisine Légère” option for those seeking healthier or vegetarian fare. The ambience inside the Europa Restaurant has been updated during refits — with renewed décor including new carpets, wall elements, reupholstered chairs and two handmade chandeliers, giving the space a fresh and elegant feel. This matches the overall luxury concept of MS Europa, where dining is designed to be a refined, comfortable, and high-quality experience. Because the Europa Restaurant is the “default” or main dining room, and included in the cruise fare, it ensures that all passengers have access to a full-service, top-level dining experience without needing to pay extra or pre-book specialty venues (unless they choose to).
Restaurant Dieter Muller is the ship’s gourmet specialty restaurant, created by acclaimed chef Dieter Müller — the first Michelin-starred chef to run his own restaurant on a cruise ship. The space is very intimate, seating only about 26–30 guests, which ensures an exclusive, fine-dining experience. The cuisine in Restaurant Dieter Müller blends French, Asian, Mediterranean and even regional (“badische”) influences, combining classic gourmet techniques with creative, modern compositions. On a typical evening, guests enjoy a multi-course dinner menu — often featuring refined dishes such as a wild-prawn curry, delicate fish courses or elaborate dessert creations. Despite its exclusivity and high culinary standard, Restaurant Dieter Müller is included in the cruise fare (i.e., there is no surcharge for dining there), although due to its limited capacity it is recommended to reserve a table well in advance — especially on shorter cruises. For some days at sea, there’s also a gourmet breakfast served here — allowing guests to enjoy elegant morning dining with sea views.
Venezia is the Italian specialty restaurant aboard MS Europa. It offers Italian cuisine — including fresh pasta, seafood, and other Mediterranean dishes — in a cozy, elegant atmosphere that aims to evoke the feel of a classic Italian ristorante. Venezia seats around 46 guests, making it more intimate than the main dining venue. Guests can dine there for lunch or evening meals, enjoying a menu that changes frequently and reflects Italian culinary traditions. The restaurant is considered part of the standard dining options included in the cruise fare, along with the other main restaurants.
Galerie serves as the ship’s art gallery and shopping/promenade-gallery area — a venue where passengers can peruse artworks, jewellery or boutique items in a calm, indoor setting. This Galerie was created when an earlier feature of the ship — a casino on Deck 4 — was closed and the space redeveloped, so it replaced a former gaming venue with a cultural-/retail-oriented one. Inside the Galerie, guests can expect a tasteful, quiet environment consistent with the rest of the ship’s upscale design, complementing the ship’s overall luxury-and-comfort atmosphere.
Boutique / Juwelier (Jewelry Shop) offers a curated selection of high‑end ladies’ and men’s fashion, toiletries, gift items, souvenirs and other retail goods appropriate for travel and leisure — making it convenient if you wish to purchase clothes, travel‑essentials or mementos aboard. The Juwelier shop (on board known as “Juwelier” / jewelry shop) is operated under a reputable name and presents fine watches, jewelry pieces, and high‑quality diamonds, offering passengers the chance to acquire luxury items without leaving the ship. Because the Boutiques and Juwelier lie along the ship’s Promenade/Atrium area, they are easily accessible and integrated naturally into the flow of daily life on board — a convenient retail stop when embarking, disembarking, or relaxing between meals and activities.
Promenade is a central indoor walkway and gathering area that links dining, shopping, social and lobby spaces — it’s the backbone of the ship’s shared public areas and plays a key role in making the ship feel like a compact, walkable “floating hotel,” rather than a collection of isolated venues.
Clipper Lounge is one of the lounge/bar venues on Deck 4 of MS Europa, listed among the ship’s main public-spaces. The Lounge historically served as a bar and band-lounge — meaning it was a place where guests could gather for drinks and enjoy live music or a band performance. However, following a major refit of MS Europa, the former Clipper Lounge was completely redesigned and rebranded. Since that renovation it no longer goes by “Clipper Lounge,” but has become Gatsby’s — a 1920s-style entertainment lounge on the same Deck 4. As Gatsby’s, the venue now reflects a classic American-bar aesthetic, offering cocktails and a refreshed entertainment concept rooted in the ambience of the Roaring Twenties. Thus, while the Clipper Lounge once provided a bar with seating and live-band entertainment, its legacy continues under a new name and design as Gatsby’s, aligning with the ship’s commitment to refined, themed luxury interior spaces after modernization.
Havana Bar is a cigar-lounge / cocktail lounge with seating for about 36 guests. The atmosphere in Havana Bar is designed to evoke a relaxed, refined, slightly smoky lounge vibe — interior décor in “Cuban style,” catering to those who enjoy cigars, good spirits (rum, cognac, etc.), and a mellow evening ambience. Havana Bar serves as one of the ship’s key venues for after-dinner drinks, relaxed evenings, and casual socializing — often chosen by guests who want a more intimate, lounge-like setting than the main show-lounge or more formal restaurants.
Piano Bar is a comfortable, elegant lounge/bar — essentially part of the ship’s atrium and central social area. With seating for about 47 guests, it features a piano and a well-stocked bar, making it a popular spot for pre-dinner drinks, evening relaxation or a quiet drink with music. During the day the atmosphere tends to be relaxed and calm — suitable for a coffee or a casual drink while watching the sea or reading — while in the evening the setting becomes more refined: soft piano music accompanies cocktails or drinks, creating a sociable yet intimate ambience for guests to gather before dinner or after a day at sea. Because of its central location (near the atrium/lobby and close to other main venues on Deck 4), the Piano Bar works as a convenient “go-to” place for quick drinks, socialising, or a calm evening — without the formality of the main dining restaurant or the bustle of larger show-lounge events.
The Atrium also hosts the ship's Reception / Cruise Sales / Tour office
Europa Lounge / Buhne (Stage) is the ship’s main show lounge and entertainment venue. It offers seating for over 400 guests — a capacity of 424 seats according to the ship’s public-spaces layout. The lounge is equipped with a proper stage, a band/piano setup and a dance floor, which enables it to host a varied programme of entertainment: musical performances, cabaret, theatre, concerts, and other live shows. Guests commonly go there in the evenings to enjoy these performances, making the Europa Lounge the centre of the ship’s nightlife and shared entertainment.
