Sea Cloud Cruises announced the line had cancelled this year’s Saint Petersburg (Russia) calls of its new ship Sea Cloud Spirit.

The Hamburg-based cruise company said it had made the decision based on the current developments in Ukraine. Saint Petersburg (Russia) had originally been on the itinerary 4 times for the Baltic Sea premiere of the 3-master full-rigged vessel.

Sea Cloud Cruises said it would now develop a new itinerary for the sailings in June and July 2022, adding that guests already booked on these itineraries would be able to rebook or receive a refund.

The line is set to be acquired by The Yacht Portfolio, which is the company behind The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
