On June 18, 2022, the A-ROSA SENA departed from Cologne/Koln (Germany) for her maiden voyage with her first passengers onboard.

Prior to this, the vessel was blessed in Dusseldorf by Deacon Michael Inden and christened by Clara Eichler, daughter of AROSA's CEO Jorg Eichler, in the presence of the investors, the company's management, and the boat's crew.

Due to supply challenges, the first voyage started slightly later than initially scheduled, which meant that the ceremony took place in a small circle. Due to the hybrid propulsion system, the first departure was accomplished with the electrical energy from battery storage.

The "E-Motion Ship" A-ROSA SENA recently received the “German Award for Sustainability Projects 2022” for environmentally friendly technologies. The AROSA is a river travel brand that targets bot the German and the British source markets.

Throughout the summer, A-ROSA SENA offers 7-night roundtrips from Cologne visiting The Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dordrecht) and Belgium (Antwerp).

Passengers can disembark individually or discover the destinations via exclusive shore trips organized by A-ROSA.

There is something for all tastes: a tour in Amsterdam, a visit to Rotterdam's miniature world Madurodam, a culinary city tour through Antwerp, or a canoe trip through the reserve Biesbosch.

The last day of the vacation is a cruising day during which passengers can enjoy everything the vessel has to offer at their leisure: the fitness area; the SPA-ROSA with sauna, whirlpool & massage room, 2 pools on the sun deck, the Kids Club, various restaurants and bars.
