Fresh from her maiden voyage to Svalbard Norway with Secret Atlas after a major refurbishment project focused on upcycling and sustainability, the ice-strengthened expedition ship Polar Pioneer is destined for further adventure on a couple of wildlife & photography voyages.

This time in the Southern Hemisphere: the first a 12-day Antarctica Cruise on January 1, 2024, Antarctica Explorer – 12 Day Wildlife & Photography Small Group Expedition, followed by a 15-day South Georgia itinerary on February 24, 2024, South Georgia Photo Tour – 15 Days of Exploration – Small Group Size.

Departing on New Year’s Day 2024 from Ushuaia (Argentina), Polar Pioneer, which was originally constructed for oceanographic research purposes, provides the smallest group size in Antarctic voyages with accommodation for just 48 passengers.

Whichever journey guests choose, they sail in comfort on the most stable of vessels, complete with a sauna, open bridge plus raised decks, spacious saloon and bar area.

Fares start from US$10995 per person sharing a triple stateroom on the Antarctica Cruise (January 1-12, 2024) and from US$13995 per person on the South Georgia Explorer itinerary (February 24 - March 9, 2024).
