Costa Cruises winter 2022-2023 schedule now includes a warm climate fly-cruise itinerary option with a few hours' flights from Europe.

From December 17, 2022, through to March 11, 2023, the latest flagship in the fleet of the Italian company, Costa Toscana, will offer a week-long itinerary to the UAE-United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Sailings are available with the “flight+cruise” package, providing the greatest convenience with no worry about transfers to get to the cruise ship or luggage once arriving at the airport.

The new offer aboard Costa Toscana will provide more time for visiting the destinations in the itinerary, due to the 2-day, 1-night long calls in Dubai (UAE), Abu Dhabi (UAE), and Muscat (Oman). On the New Year’s journey, the overnight call is in Dubai only.

The company offers a range of excursions with authentic experiences which combine futuristic architecture with the desert and ancient traditions.

In Dubai, a special tour is the helicopter ride, offering breathtaking views of the city. Another must is the jeep desert tour.

In Muscat, passengers can try a voyage along Oman's coast on a traditional wooden boat, the Dhow. In Abu Dhabi, they can choose to visit one of the 3 most famous theme parks in the city: the Ferrari World for sportsmen; Warner Brothers World, to meet popular cartoon characters; and Yas Waterworld, a water park with 43 attractions.

Alternatively, guests can relax on the exclusive beach of Al Maya Island, a paradise just minutes from Abu Dhabi.

For golf lovers, the “cruise and golf” package is soon to be available, combining the best of golf with the best of cruising, as well as allowing tourists to golf at some of the most beautiful clubs in Oman and the UAE during the calls.

Costa Toscana’s offerings will be tailored according to the destination. Commencing with the gastronomic offer, signed by Angel Leon, Bruno Barbieri, and Helene Darroze. The 3 world-renowned chefs are expected to introduce the destinations through taste, via the Destination Dishes, offered in the main dining rooms that interpret the tradition and flavours of the place that will be visited the following day. The 3 Archipelago restaurant menus, one by each of the chefs, are specially designed to explore the sea through food. The onboard entertainment program will feature the debut of an unprecedented show, called “Essence,” inspired by the “Arabian Nights” atmospheres of the Arabian Gulf.

The new itinerary features an update of health protocols, which allow all passengers, even those who have not been vaccinated against COVID, to book a trip onboard Costa Toscana.
