The NCLH-owned luxury travel brand Oceania Cruises announced the earlier debut of its Vista ship by introducing the new "Founder's Cruise"/maiden voyage departing from Rome-Civitavecchia (Italy) on May 13, 2023, and ending in Venice (Marghera, Italy).

Oceania Vista was scheduled to debut on May 20th (2023) but unprecedented demand for the inaugural season has driven the inaugural cruise forward by a week.

Howard Sherman (company's President and CEO) said Vista had been driving exceptional demand from the moment they had first revealed her inaugural voyages.

"With all of her maiden season voyages sold out or on waitlist status, we are introducing an additional voyage to satisfy that exceptional demand."

The "Founder's Cruise" will be hosted by Frank J. Del Rio (NCLH's/shipowner's CEO and President) in celebration of the new vessel/currently under construction and to commemorate the brand's 20th anniversary.

Sailing from Rome, passengers will experience explorations of the most alluring destinations in Greece, Croatia, and Italy, punctuated by inaugural cocktail receptions, exclusive celebrations, and special events. Passengers joining the inaugural voyage will be among the first to experience Oceania Vista and her unique interiors, public spaces, new dining and mixology concepts, as well as new standards for residential-style luxury, of which the most spacious standard staterooms at sea.
