TUI Cruises' ship Mein Schiff 1 makes inaugural call in Dominica

MV Mein Schiff 1 of TUI Cruises Germany made a maiden call in Dominica (Port Roseau) on April 5th, 2023, which marked the Port's 9th call of season 2022-2023.

Dominica's Ministry of Tourism shared glimpses of the cruise docking at the country's port on Facebook. Discover Dominica Authority warmly welcomed the cruise, which had a passenger capacity of 2,894 individuals, and offered them a range of activities and facilities, such as a Lagune sun deck, sports area, pool, rock-climbing wall, fitness area, cinema screen, restaurants, bistros, bars, and more.

Schiff 1 has 11 decks, 1447 staterooms and max passenger capacity 2894, modern facilities and amenities.

Dominica has been having a successful 2023 season, receiving a total of 177 cruise calls as of April 1, 2023. Port Roseau's berth, which is located near the capital, offers a beautiful view of the island and allows tourists to explore the local craft vendors and traditional architecture. Tourists can also try local juices, rum punches, and cuisine in nearby bars and restaurants.

TUI'sn Schiff 1 is currently on a 20-day Transatlantic crossing (RepositionCruises.com) from La Romana (Dominicana) to Bremerhaven (Germany).
