NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the cancellation of 38 cruises initially scheduled for November 2025 through April 2026.
The cancellations affected the ships Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Jewel, and Norwegian Star.
Details on the redeployments remain undisclosed.
The cancellations impact a range of itineraries:
Norwegian Jewel - all sailings from Tampa FL between November 23rd, 2025, and April 5th, 2026, are canceled. These included Caribbean cruises ranging from 5 to 14 days.
Norwegian Dawn the series of longer itineraries (12- to 21-day) scheduled between November 2nd, 2025, and April 12th, 2026, are affected. These itineraries included routes through the southern tip of Africa, the Persian Gulf, Singapore, and back around Africa to Europe.
Norwegian Star’s South America and Antarctica season, scheduled between November 20th, 2025, and April 14th, 2026, has also been canceled.
Additionally, NCL canceled a 14-night South Pacific sailing on Norwegian Sun scheduled for August 7th, 2025.
Two short cruises on Norwegian Getaway on August 17th and 21st, 2026, were also canceled due to a full-ship charter.
Guests affected by these cancellations will receive a full refund to the original payment method and a 10% FCC/future cruise credit. Travel agents with bookings paid in full will retain their commissions.
NCL has not provided further details on the strategic redeployment of these vessels.
