150-night World Cruise 2028 scheduled for Crystal Symphony ship

Crystal Cruises has announced its most extensive World Cruise to date.

Titled "Treasures of the Tides", the voyage is scheduled for Crystal Symphony and leaving on January 11, 2028. It voyage marks the vessel’s return to World Cruise service for the first time in a decade and will span 150 nights, concluding on June 10, 2028, in Fort Lauderdale FL USA.

Bookings are scheduled to open to the public on May 29th, 2025.

Sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, the itinerary will include 84 destinations across 39 countries and 6 continents. An optional disembarkation in Barcelona (Spain) is available on May 27 for guests preferring a shorter duration. The route has been crafted to connect cultural capitals, remote islands, and lesser-known coastal towns, emphasizing immersive regional experiences and a slower travel pace. A selection of shore excursions will be developed in collaboration with Abercrombie & Kent, known for their expertise in curated travel.

The itinerary includes maiden calls in Huahine (French Polynesia), Nha Trang (Vietnam), Mangalore (India), and several Australian ports such as Kangaroo Island, Albany, and Geraldton. Each month features distinct regional focus: January begins with Caribbean and Central American ports and a Panama Canal transit; February showcases French Polynesia and South Pacific islands; March explores New Zealand, Australia, and Southeast Asia; April includes India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia’s major cities; and May transitions through the Red Sea into the Mediterranean before concluding the Atlantic crossing in early June.

Guests aboard the full voyage will be invited to exclusive events in cities such as Lima, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dubai, along with a final celebratory occasion marking the cruise's end. Crystal’s Chairman and Brand Ambassador, Fernando Barroso de Oliveira, is expected to sail alongside guests for the duration, sharing his destination expertise throughout the journey.

Pricing begins at US$69,000 per person based on double occupancy. The fare includes business class airfare allowance, US$1,500 in onboard spending credit, unlimited specialty dining with reservations, themed onboard events, private transfers, luggage valet service, complimentary laundry, and an initial onboard medical consultation. Additional perks and curated shore events are also included for those completing the full World Cruise itinerary.
