Celebrity Cruises has initiated a substantial refurbishment program, allocating over US$250 million to modernize its Solstice-class vessels. The project will commence with the Celebrity Solstice in March 2026, followed by updates to the remaining ships in the class: Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Silhouette, and Celebrity Reflection

The modernization aims to enhance guest experiences through the introduction of new venues and the revitalization of existing spaces. Notable additions include the Boulevard Lounge, a cabaret-style entertainment venue; the adjacent Boulevard Bar; and the Celebrity Barcade, a sports bar equipped with games such as billiards and darts.

Culinary offerings will expand with the introduction of Trattoria Rossa, an Italian restaurant, and the Fine Cut Steakhouse, previously featured on the Edge-class ships. Outdoor spaces will see significant enhancements, most prominently the creation of Sunset Park—a half-acre area featuring cocktails, lawn games, open-air concerts, private cabanas, and an expanded Sunset Bar.

Accommodations across all categories will undergo upgrades. AquaClass staterooms will be updated with spa-inspired amenities, including massaging shower heads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, and a new pillow menu. Four new stateroom categories will be introduced: Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, Deluxe Panoramic Oceanview Suite, Panoramic Ocean View Suite, and Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View.

The Retreat, Celebrity's premium suite experience, will feature enhanced suites, a new sundeck with outdoor seating and a hot tub, and a redesigned Retreat Lounge. Additional public areas slated for refurbishment include Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, Pool Bar, Passport Bar, Blu (exclusive to AquaClass guests), Luminae (exclusive to The Retreat), the Fitness Center, and Camp at Sea.

The revitalized Celebrity Solstice will debut in March 2026, offering itineraries in Asia and Australia, followed by summer sailings in Alaska. In September 2026, the ship will embark on a 110-night Grand Voyage from Canada to Southeast Asia.
