Virgin Voyages has completed its 2025 Celebration Voyages, a sequence of three consecutive, fully booked sailings that featured live performances by headline artists and drew considerable attention across media and social platforms. The programme, designed to integrate the company’s music-oriented brand identity with its onboard entertainment offering, attracted more than seven thousand passengers.
Each voyage combined the line’s contemporary presentation style with performances by artists whose work spans several decades. On board Valiant Lady, Latin performer Nicky Jam delivered a poolside set that included recent material, encouraging passengers to join in the dancing. Scarlet Lady hosted Melanie C, who performed a combination of earlier and recent works to an engaged audience. On Resilient Lady, Kathy Sledge’s set began with an informal gathering during the morning soundcheck and concluded with her signature song, “We Are Family,” which was accompanied by dancing on the upper deck.
In addition to scheduled concerts, the sailings included DJ sets, question-and-answer sessions, informal meet-and-greet opportunities, and the line’s themed “Scarlet Night” events. Passenger feedback, as well as coverage in entertainment publications, indicated that the voyages were well received, with commentary noting the proximity of performers, the variety of programming, and the general atmosphere on board.
Virgin Voyages has announced that in 2026 the programme will be rebranded as the Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage. This development is intended to maintain the company’s association with music, entertainment, and cultural programming, while also offering additional exclusive activities for frequent passengers. With repeat traveller rates reported at approximately thirty percent per voyage, the revised format will feature new artists, varied programming, and additional opportunities for passenger interaction.
