Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has announced a strategic partnership with sister brand Crystal Cruises to merge A&K's expedition expertise with Crystal's ultra-luxury hospitality. The collaboration, effective August 2026, will see A&K's cultural voyages operate aboard Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, combining immersive land programs with Crystal's acclaimed onboard service.
The pilot program launches with A&K x Crystal: Cruising Italy, Greece and the Balkans, a 12-day Mediterranean itinerary from Rome to Venice limited to 50 guests. Six additional voyages will follow in 2027, including Asia, Atlantic, and Canadian routes, expanding capacity to 125 guests.
Key features include A&K's Expedition Team (1:18 guest ratio), curated shore excursions, and pre-cruise luxury hotel stays. Guests will reside in Crystal's Sapphire Veranda Suites, with solo travelers accommodated in Aquamarine Veranda Suites without single supplements. The partnership retains A&K's educational focus while incorporating Crystal's amenities, including Nobu's Umi Uma and Beefbar at sea.
Crystal's recent recognition as Travel + Leisure's Top Midsize-Ship Ocean Cruise Line for 2025 complements A&K's sustainable tourism ethos. The inaugural voyage includes VIP cultural access in Rome, Corfu, and Kotor, with pricing from US$22,200 per person.
This alliance represents A&K Travel Group's strategic integration of luxury land and sea experiences under a unified brand ecosystem.
