Celebrity Cruises now turns its prow toward Europe’s inland waterways, introducing a pair of river vessels—the Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker—slated for debut in 2027. These ships bring the refined design sensibilities of the Edge-class ocean liners ashore, ensuring the elegance of The Celebrity Way complements the intimate journey along the Rhine and Danube.
Priority Booking Access is now open, allowing guests to secure staterooms with a fully refundable deposit of US$500.
The vessels stand out with patent-pending architecture, offering more vacation space than any river ship to date. Expansive open decks remain accessible throughout the voyage, delivering uninterrupted 360° views, while innovative features include the “Magic Edge”—cantilevered dining pods suspended above the river—along with top-deck bars, shaded lounging zones, and an infinity-edge plunge pool.
Each ship will house 86 staterooms across five categories—from River View and Infinite Balcony to the showpiece Skylight Infinite Balcony Suite and the spacious Vista Balcony Suite. These accommodations boast king-sized beds, generous storage, natural light, and refined interiors. Suites also offer on-demand butler service through “Butler Chat,” exclusive dining and happy hour experiences, complimentary laundry, and priority shore excursion reservations.
Guests will discover eight restaurants and bars onboard, including familiar favorites like Martini Bar, Sunset Bar, and Café al Bacio. Dining unfolds across multiple venues, with local cuisine woven into menus, 24-hour meal access, and continental-style breakfasts delivered to cabins.
The inaugural voyages—33 in all—span 7 nights, weaving European legends between the Rhine and Danube. Itineraries venture through festive Christmas Markets and New Year’s City lightscapes, daytime passages along vineyard-laden valleys, and immersive calls in storied cities such as Vienna, Budapest, Strasbourg, and Amsterdam.
In design and sustainability, these vessels reflect Celebrity’s legacy of innovation. They feature a sleek, lightweight hull that enhances maneuverability, hybrid propulsion and advanced waste and noise reduction systems.
