RCI-Royal Caribbean International has outlined its summer 2027 deployment to Alaska, presenting travelers with an extensive collection of itineraries designed to showcase the region’s remote wilderness and coastal grandeur. The program will feature weeklong sailings aboard Anthem of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, and Voyager of the Seas, departing from Seattle, Seward, and Vancouver. Each itinerary will combine maritime exploration with opportunities for extended overland experiences through Royal Caribbean’s multi-night Cruisetour offerings.
The itineraries have been released for early booking by Crown & Anchor Society members ahead of their general availability. Across these voyages, guests will have the opportunity to explore ports such as Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan, and witness the state’s signature landscapes, from the glaciers of Hubbard and Endicott Arm to the wildlife-rich waters of Alaska’s Inside Passage. Excursion options include whale watching, helicopter sightseeing, and guided visits to Mendenhall Glacier and Denali National Park.
The Anthem of the Seas will operate 7-night sailings between Seward and Vancouver, featuring calls at Skagway and Ketchikan and scenic cruising through Hubbard Glacier. For the first time, the ship will also offer overnight Cruisetour extensions that include glass-domed rail journeys and guided inland explorations. On board, guests will find the North Star observation capsule, SeaPlex activity complex, and a range of dining experiences from Mediterranean cuisine at Solarium Bistro to classic American fare at Johnny Rockets.
Following its Australian season, the Quantum of the Seas will return to Seattle for 7-night cruises through Alaska’s southeastern coast. Its itineraries will visit Sitka, Juneau, and Skagway, offering activities such as kayaking, wildlife viewing, and glacier excursions. On board, passengers can experience the FlowRider surf simulator, laser tag, and open-air cinema, alongside dining venues including Jamie’s Italian, Chops Grille, and Izumi.
The Serenade of the Seas will operate from Vancouver, navigating Alaska’s Inside Passage with calls at Sitka, Icy Strait Point, and Ketchikan. Life aboard will include live performances, poolside film screenings, and family activities, complemented by dining options such as Giovanni’s Table and Chops Grille.
From Seattle, the Voyager of the Seas will sail 7-night journeys featuring Juneau, Skagway, and scenic cruising through Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. The ship will offer both recreation and relaxation, with an adults-only Solarium, ice-skating rink, laser tag arena, and mini golf course among its onboard amenities.
