Virgin Voyages is preparing for its first Alaska deployment in summer 2026 and is positioning the programme around slow-paced exploration and an adults-only onboard environment. The line will operate the season with the new Brilliant Lady and has outlined a month-long residence-at-sea concept designed for guests seeking extended travel without family-focused amenities.
The line announced its 2026 Alaska Summer Season Pass on December 2nd. The pass offers 30 days of consecutive sailings aboard Brilliant Lady, allowing travellers to experience Alaska at an unhurried rhythm aboard a vessel built exclusively for adults. Company leaders indicated that Alaska’s landscapes make it well suited to a slower tempo of travel and noted that the ship provides comfort, contemporary design and uninterrupted adult-focused programming.
The itinerary portfolio covers major Alaskan ports, including Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway and Icy Strait Point, as well as scenic transits of the Inside Passage, Hubbard Glacier and Tracy Arm Fjord. The line described the season pass as an option intended for guests who value quiet, comfort and extended time in a remote cruising region.
Virgin Voyages has outlined four 30-day Alaska pass periods for 2026, beginning with a departure from Seattle on May 28th. Each pass includes a Central Sea Terrace cabin for two guests, daily drink credits, included shore experiences up to a set value, a glacier-focused excursion, enhanced Wi-Fi for remote work, laundry service, thermal spa access, and priority boarding. Pass holders will also receive an equipment kit intended for a month of outdoor and scenic travel, including a camera, binoculars and branded apparel.
Pricing varies by date range: 28 May–23 June at US$26,000; 23 June–23 July at US$38,000; 30 July–27 August at US$35,000; and 27 August–26 September at US$36,000. Fares cover Virgin Voyages’ Premium Fare and service charges for two guests. A booking incentive running through January 29th, 2026 allows travellers to pay full fare for one guest and receive an 80% reduction for the second guest, along with a drinks credit.
