The forthcoming session of Cruise Europe Conference is scheduled to take place in Reykjavík, Iceland, from 26th to 29th May 2026. According to the organisers — Faxaflóahafnir / Faxaports — full details are now published online, and prospective delegates are urged to register early, as accommodation and travel demand tends to be high in late May.
The centrepiece of the conference will be the Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre, a renowned waterfront venue situated within ten minutes’ walk of the four partner hotels — Parliament Hotel, Hotel Reykjavík Saga, Exeter Hotel and City Center Hotel Reykjavík.
On the evening that delegates arrive they will be welcomed at an informal dinner hosted at the Reykjavik Cruise Terminal at Skarfabakki. In addition, those who wish may remain beyond the formal programme to attend Reykjavík’s official Opening Festival later in the week — an opportunity many may take to extend their visit and explore more of Iceland’s capital.
The conference’s gala dinner will be held in the historic venue Gamla Bíó, a former cinema from the early 20th century, with a rooftop drinks reception leading into the evening’s formal proceedings.
For cruise-industry professionals and delegates, the 2026 Cruise Europe meeting presents not only business and networking opportunities but also a chance to experience Reykjavík at the threshold of the Icelandic summer — combining port infrastructure, hospitality and cultural immersion.
