Crystal Cruises has released detailed suite renderings for Crystal Grace, its new class, all-suite, all-veranda ship scheduled for delivery in May 2028. The vessel is planned to start revenue operations with a series of preview voyages leading up to the maiden voyage on June 11th.
Crystal Grace's max capacity is 650 passengers accommodated in 337 staterooms (only suite categories. It represents the company’s first new ocean-going ship in 25 years and introduces enhanced living spaces that reflect evolving preferences in luxury cruising.
Crystal Grace's staterooms would provide expanded storage, flexible layouts and, for several categories, wraparound balconies — a feature not previously offered by Crystal Cruises. The ship's all-suite arrangement aims to support extended voyages with accommodations tailored to extended sea travel.
All suites will include butler service and incorporate appointed furnishings, curated linens, and design elements intended to balance comfort and longevity of use.
Lower-category staterooms include veranda cabins sized around 230 ft2/21 m2 with separate living areas and enhanced storage, while the majority of accommodations are mid-range veranda suites of about 335 ft2/31 m2 featuring private balconies.
Larger cabin categories extend to Sapphire Suites with separate living and sleeping areas and verandas exceeding 100 ft2/9 m2, and Penthouse Suites exceeding 1,200 ft2/112 m2 with panoramic indoor-outdoor spaces.
Select suites in both upper tiers are planned with wraparound verandas measuring several hundred square feet.
Accessible suite options are also integrated into the layout with verandas and fully navigable interiors.
Midship Junior Penthouse categories provide expanded living spaces with separate dining areas and Jacuzzis, while forward and aft penthouse variants offer extended outdoor footprints capable of supporting private gatherings and expansive sea views. Additional suite categories, including an Owner’s Suite, are expected to be unveiled subsequently.
Crystal Grace’s cabin designs are developed by the Italian architectural firm GEM (GEM (Design for Cruise Ships), with art direction and interior coordination provided by the Milano-based firm Studio Ibsen.
The designs emphasise spatial fluidity between interior and exterior environments while maintaining the refined aesthetic for which the line is known. These new accommodations, combined with the ship’s suite-only format, position Crystal Grace to support both traditional luxury voyages and expanded global itinerary offerings in its inaugural season and beyond.
