StarCruises has confirmed that Star Voyager will host a series of live performances by internationally known silent comedy performer Tape Face during selected sailings between January 9th and February 5th, 2026. The engagement will take place during the vessel’s seasonal deployment from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur via Port Klang.
Tape Face, widely recognised for appearances on international TV talent shows and for a previous long-running stage production in the USA, is known for a performance style centred on physical comedy, mime, and visual timing rather than spoken dialogue. This approach allows the act to appeal across language barriers and age groups.
During the scheduled period, Star Voyager's guests will have access to complimentary performances staged in the ship’s main show lounge, the Zodiac Theatre. The shows are designed around prop-based routines, controlled audience participation, and minimalist presentation.
StarCruises’ management has indicated that the inclusion of Tape Face is intended to broaden the ship’s onboard entertainment offering and align with the varied demographic profile of passengers travelling on the region’s short-duration itineraries. The company has positioned such performances as part of a broader strategy to enhance the cruise experience through recognised international acts alongside established onboard programming.
Throughout its seasonal operation from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur until early February 2026, Star Voyager will operate a series of 3- and 4-night cruises. These itineraries link ports including Singapore, Port Klang, Phuket, and Medan, combining regional destinations with time at sea suited to shorter holiday schedules.
In addition to the headline performances, the ship will continue to offer a range of onboard facilities and services. Accommodation options span interior, oceanview, and balcony staterooms, as well as higher-end Palace Suites. Entertainment programming includes theatrical productions and live music, while family-oriented activities are scheduled throughout each sailing. Dining venues feature a mix of Halal-certified and international cuisine, complemented by specialty restaurants and bars. Leisure amenities include pool areas, fitness facilities, open decks, and spa services, supporting a balance between entertainment, relaxation, and destination-focused cruising.
