In the Arabian Gulf this winter season, the two-ship fleet of Celestyal Cruises converged for the first time while each vessel pursued its assigned programme in the region.
The Celestyal Journey and the Celestyal Discovery were recorded passing one another as they plied their respective winter deployments, both operating from ports across the Gulf under the line’s expanded seasonal itinerary.
This event was noted by the cruise company via a social media announcement, in which it described it as the first instance of both of its ships navigating side by side in this theatre, a milestone in the firm’s deployment strategy as it broadens its seasonal footprint beyond its customary Eastern Mediterranean operations toward a sustained presence in the Middle East.
