CCL-Carnival fleetwide vow renewal ceremonies mark Valentine’s Day cruises

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line conducted its largest‑to‑date fleetwide vow renewal observance at sea on Valentine’s Day, a coordinated event spanning 28 ships that formed part of the company’s annual calendar of special occasions.

The ceremonies were scheduled to take place on the Lido decks of participating vessels, enabling more than 1 000 married couples to reaffirm their commitments while underway on the open ocean. Each vessel’s event included customary elements such as a shared toast and ceremonial cake, and was overseen virtually by the cruise line’s designated Chief Fun Officer.

The fleetwide observance built on a tradition maintained by the operator, which offers wedding, engagement and vow‑renewal services throughout the year as part of its passenger amenities. In the preceding year, the line reported that nearly 1 500 couples had taken advantage of such opportunities across its programme of personal milestone celebrations at sea.

This Valentine’s Day activity was incorporated into the broader shipboard schedule of short‑ and medium‑range itineraries, reflecting CCL's ongoing emphasis on thematic events that leverage the seagoing environment to mark personal occasions and bring guests together around shared experiences.
