MSC Cruises has confirmed that its fleet will carry live broadcasts of every match from the 2026 global soccer tournament being hosted jointly by Canada, Mexico and the USA between June 11th and July 19th, 2026.
MSC plans to display all 104 tournament fixtures on its vessels during the summer season, enabling passengers to follow their national teams while sailing on itineraries in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and other regions.
This initiative aligns MSC's shipboard programming with a major international sporting event, providing access to live match coverage as ships transit between ports of call.
Match screenings are scheduled to be presented in a range of onboard venues on each ship, including sports and casino bars, large LED screens beside pool decks, and in selected lounges and theatre spaces. These settings are being prepared to accommodate passengers wishing to view fixtures in group environments while at sea.
MSC’s arrangement complements a broader trend among operators who are bringing live sports broadcasts to maritime itineraries, recognising the popularity of the event among an international passenger base.
In addition to the live match coverage, related activities designed around the tournament may be available during the period, supporting engagement across age groups and enhancing the overall cruise experience for those on board. The integration of global sports programming with traditional maritime travel offerings illustrates how cruise operations are adapting to incorporate live global events into the onboard schedule without interrupting scheduled navigation and port visits.
