CCL-Carnival Cruise Line introduces interactive lottery system Carnival Millions

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has put into operation a new fleetwide interactive lottery system referred to as Carnival Millions, linking participating vessels across its North American and European deployments in a coordinated daily electronic draw that offers eligible passengers the possibility of winning prizes reaching up to US$1 million.

This initiative employs interactive entertainment technology provided by TimePlay to connect players at sea in real time, creating a shared gaming experience across the fleet rather than limiting participation to individual ships.

The lottery is accessed digitally once passengers are embarked and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi, with tickets purchased through the line’s Carnival HUB application; multiple entries may be bought for upcoming daily draws throughout a voyage.

The electronic drawing produces a winning number and a series of secondary prizes each day, and results are displayed immediately within the app, while major prize or jackpot recipients are contacted directly by the ship’s casino and guest services personnel following a draw.

This development represents an expansion of onboard gaming offerings and a novel application of networked entertainment technology to create a unified, fleetwide attraction for Carnival’s guests.
