VIDEO: Disney Cruise Line launches “Midnight Magic” campaign

DCL-Disney Cruise Line introduced a new advertising campaign during the broadcast of the Academy Awards, presenting a commercial titled Midnight Magic.

The advertisement follows the relationship between a father and son across several stages of life as they spend time together aboard a Disney cruise ship. The narrative depicts shared moments beginning in childhood and continuing into adulthood and eventually grandparenthood, reflecting the role of cruise travel in family experiences across generations.

The campaign is being launched during a period of expansion for Disney Cruise Line. The company plans to introduce five additional vessels by 2031, which would increase the fleet to a total of 13 ships worldwide. Recent developments include the introduction of Disney Destiny in Fort Lauderdale and the debut of Disney Adventure in Singapore, marking the cruise line’s first ship to operate in Asia.

In remarks accompanying the campaign launch, Asad Ayaz stated that the company had long focused on creating experiences that bring families together. He indicated that the campaign reflects feedback frequently expressed by guests, who often value shared experiences with family members as the most meaningful aspect of Disney travel. He added that the company views its role as enabling those moments to take place through its cruise offerings.
