Princess Cruises will expand its Sanctuary Collection premium accommodation and onboard experience across five Royal-class ships, extending the offering beyond Sun Princess and Star Princess. The rollout will begin with Royal Princess as part of a multi-year fleet modernisation programme.

The Sanctuary Collection combines selected suites and staterooms with access to exclusive onboard areas, dedicated dining, personalised service and additional amenities. Guests will have access to the private Sanctuary Club, featuring dedicated relaxation spaces and a pool area with upgraded loungers, optional cabanas and poolside food and beverage service. The Sanctuary Restaurant will offer destination-inspired menus, while suite guests will also have access to a private Suite Lounge and dedicated concierge assistance.

Selected accommodations will include newly introduced oceanview staterooms. Bookings in the Sanctuary Collection will also include Princess Premier, the cruise line’s most comprehensive package, covering premium beverages, specialty and casual dining, high-speed Wi-Fi, crew appreciation, room service and OceanNow delivery, among other benefits. Additional features include priority access and reservations, curated in-room amenities and tailored daily programming.

Sanctuary Collection accommodations aboard Royal Princess are scheduled to go on sale first, beginning with a 12-day South Pacific voyage departing January 4th, 2027. Existing guests who booked a Reserve Collection stateroom on Royal Princess before October 22nd, 2026, will receive the additional Sanctuary Collection amenities at no extra charge, excluding the Princess Premier package.

The expansion will continue with Regal Princess, with bookings opening November 5th, 2026, for a transatlantic voyage departing Port Everglades on April 17th, 2027. Discovery Princess bookings will open December 4th for a 7-day Mexico cruise departing Los Angeles on April 24th, followed by Sky Princess on December 10th for a 14-day Baltic voyage departing Southampton on May 29th. Bookings for Enchanted Princess will open December 17th, beginning with a 7-day Mediterranean cruise from Civitavecchia on June 12th, 2027.

Princess Cruises President Gus Antorcha said the expansion would make the enhanced privacy, personalised service and premium amenities available to more passengers while retaining access to the ships’ wider dining, entertainment and destination offerings.
