Silversea has launched its 2026-2027 Antarctica season, with Silver Endeavour departing from King George Island and Silver Wind sailing from Puerto Williams, Chile. Through March 2027, Silver Endeavour, Silver Wind and Silver Cloud will operate 40 voyages ranging from 6 to 21 nights, including 29 Antarctica Fly Cruise itineraries and expeditions to South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.

The Antarctica Fly Cruise programme includes 14 roundtrip sailings aboard Silver Endeavour, with flights across the Drake Passage in both directions, and 15 one-way itineraries combining flights with a sea crossing aboard Silver Wind, Silver Cloud or Silver Endeavour. Charter flights, expedition activities and Zodiac excursions are included in all departures.

Eleven additional voyages will cross the Drake Passage by sea in both directions from Puerto Williams. Highlights include Silver Wind’s 18-night Falklands and Antarctic Peninsula itinerary departing November 7th, and four 15-night Silver Cloud voyages combining South Georgia, Elephant Island and the Antarctic Peninsula, beginning November 9th. A 12-night Silver Cloud sailing departing December 9th will cross south of the Antarctic Circle, while Silver Wind will operate a 15-night holiday voyage departing December 22nd. The season’s longest itinerary will be a 21-night Silver Endeavour voyage departing March 4th, 2027, and ending in Buenos Aires after visits to Antarctica, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands and Puerto Madryn, Argentina.

A key addition to the Fly Cruise programme is The Cormorant at 55 South, Silversea’s new hotel in Puerto Williams. Every Fly Cruise itinerary will include a stay at the property, supported by private Silversea charter flights from Santiago featuring comfortable seating, a 3-course meal and onboard service. The company describes the service as the only direct flight connecting Chile’s capital with Puerto Williams.

Silversea expedition specialists will also rotate through the hotel, where guests can take part in kayaking on the Beagle Channel, guided hikes on Navarino Island and horseback excursions led by local Patagonian guides.

The hotel’s Latitude 55 restaurant will serve family-style meals inspired by Patagonian cuisine, while Bar Sur will offer Chilean wines and cocktails made with local ingredients. The official opening is scheduled for November 5th, 2026, with guests on earlier voyages receiving a preview.

Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea, said the expanded programme would give guests more options for reaching Antarctica, combining traditional sea voyages with fly-cruise itineraries and the new Puerto Williams hotel experience.
