P&O Cruises has added 5 further sailings aboard Britannia for April 2027, broadening its spring deployment from Southampton with a mix of short breaks and week-long itineraries, alongside a longer voyage combining southern Europe with the Norwegian fjords.
The headline addition is a 14-night Spain, France & Norwegian Fjords cruise departing Southampton on April 2nd, 2027. The itinerary has been structured as a back-to-back combination of two 7-night voyages, allowing passengers to experience both regions within a single sailing. The route includes calls at Gijón, La Coruña, Vigo and Cherbourg before continuing north to Haugesund, Ålesund, Skjolden and Stavanger. Fares are listed from GBP 1,299 per person based on two passengers sharing an inside cabin.
The wider programme consists of two short breaks and two 7-night voyages, each operating roundtrip from Southampton. These include a 7-night Southern Cruise Break visiting Gijón, La Coruña, Vigo and Cherbourg, as well as a 7-night Norway Fjords itinerary featuring Haugesund, Ålesund, Skjolden and Stavanger. Shorter sailings comprise a 3-night Belgium Cruise Break calling at Zeebrugge and a 4-night Belgium & France Cruise Break with calls at Le Havre and Zeebrugge.
According to the company’s associate vice-president of sales and distribution, Ruth Venn, the additional departures were introduced in response to strong demand for spring 2027 holidays and were intended to provide travel agents with greater choice. She indicated that the programme had been designed to offer a range of durations, from short breaks to week-long voyages, as well as a longer itinerary that combines two established routes into a single cruise, creating further opportunities for agents to drive bookings and deliver value to customers.
Alongside the expanded programme, the cruise line is offering up to GBP 800 in onboard spending credit on selected sailings departing between June 2026 and November 2027. The promotion applies to Select Price bookings made between March 24th and June 1st, 2026 on applicable cabin grades across certain departures from Southampton.
