VIVA Cruises is preparing to mark the entry of its first boutique vessel, VIVA BEYOND, with a christening ceremony scheduled for May 8th on the Seine River in Paris City.
The special occasion will signal the formal introduction of the Scylla-owned brand's premium boutique segment and the beginning of the boat's operational service.
The event is arranged as both a naming ceremony and a broader acknowledgement of leadership within the international travel sector, with particular emphasis placed on the role of women across the industry.
Proceedings will be conducted by Danish journalist Annamette Fuhrmann, joined by VIVA's CEO and co-founder Andrea Kruse, alongside Cecilie Kopperud (ESCAPE Travel Norway), who will serve as the riverboat's godmother.
Following the formalities, the ship is scheduled to embark on its inaugural voyage, taking on its first complement of passengers and entering regular service along European waterways.
