VIVA Cruises is preparing to mark the entry of its first boutique vessel, VIVA BEYOND, with a christening ceremony scheduled for May 8th on the Seine River in Paris. The occasion will signal the formal introduction of the company’s premium boutique segment and the beginning of the vessel’s operational service.
The event is arranged as both a naming ceremony and a broader acknowledgement of leadership within the international travel sector, with particular emphasis placed on the role of women across the industry. Proceedings will be conducted by Danish journalist Annamette Fuhrmann, joined by the company’s chief executive and co-founder Andrea Kruse, alongside Cecilie Kopperud of ESCAPE Travel Norway, who will serve as the vessel’s godmother.
Following the formalities, the ship is scheduled to embark on its inaugural voyage, taking on its first complement of passengers and entering regular service along European waterways.
