Princess Cruises has opened the “Share Your Princess Story” contest for members of its Captain’s Circle Elite tier, offering 4 winners the opportunity to travel aboard the cruise line’s floral float during the 138th Rose Parade presented by Honda on January 1st, 2027, in Pasadena, California.

Entries are open through September 22nd, 2026. Eligible members are invited to submit a 300- to 500-word essay describing the memorable experiences, connections and destinations that have made Princess Cruises part of their travel history. The entry form, official rules and eligibility requirements are available at the dedicated contest website.

The competition is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada, excluding Quebec, who are at least 18 years old. Participants must have completed at least 15 Princess cruises or accumulated 150 cruise days by the beginning of the contest.

Four winners will be selected by October 6th, with each receiving a trip for two to Pasadena and the opportunity for the winner to ride aboard the Princess Cruises float during the 2027 Rose Parade. Princess Chief Marketing Officer Marie Lee said the initiative was intended to highlight the experiences of long-standing guests while reflecting the parade’s 2027 theme of “Welcome.”

Princess Cruises is returning to the Rose Parade for a second consecutive year with a float titled “Welcome Aboard – Find Your Story.” The design has been developed around the 2027 Pasadena Tournament of Roses theme and is intended to represent discovery, connections between people and the sense of belonging associated with travel.

Designed and constructed by Artistic Entertainment Services, the float will measure ~55 feet long and 22 feet high and incorporate 320,000+ flowers, seeds, bark, leaves and other natural materials. Its floral design and animation will feature destinations served by Princess, including Alaska, Japan, Australia and Europe.

The Rose Parade typically attracts ~800,000 spectators along Pasadena’s Colorado Boulevard, while its television broadcast reaches 28+ million viewers in the United States and additional audiences internationally.
