VIDEO: Outdoor Ethusiast Paddles Around Massive Cruise Ship

See here how an outdoor ocean enthusiast paddled around a massive cruise ship this past week while the vessel was anchored in Monterey Bay.

Brent Allen, of Carmel, circles his stand-up paddleboard around Celebrity Infinity, hoping to get more people talking about whether big cruise liners should be allowed into Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

"I noticed a floating building in the Monterey Bay that anchored for three days. I scratched my head, this is a National Marine Sanctuary? How in the world would a massive cruise ship be allowed to motor into this area?" Allen asked.

He questions whether the economic benefit from more visitors exploring Monterey, Pebble Beach and Carmel, is worth the environmental risk.

Brent Allen said he was concerned that more and more sailings are being permitted to enter Monterey Bay.
