Copenhagen Cruise Port Enjoys Record Season

Copenhagen is high up on the list of port cities that cruise ship passengers are keen to visit.

A total of 850,000 cruisers have embarked from 325 ships to take in the capital of Denmark so far this year, which is a new record.

AIDAvita was the last cruise vessel to dock at Langelinie during summer season. 6 Christmas & New Year voyages are expected before the season is over.

2018 is expected to be more formidable via 337 cruise ships carrying 875,000 guests due to drop anchor in port of Copenhagen. Even Malmo is getting in on action with 9 ships and 10,000 cruisers scheduled to visit.

The Danish capital is a popular homeport where cruisers begin and end their voyages. Of the 325 ships to call in 2017, 153 were turnaround trips.
