While creating the new cruise line, Virgin Voyages has been seeking input from its potential clients on both the appearance of the newbuild and its itinerary.

In a blog post, Branson said they had used research from customers and travel partners in the U.K. and U.S. to learn that Cuba was one of the places cruisers would most like to visit.

Fort Lauderdale Florida-based Virgin Voyages opens bookings in 2019.
