Sea Master Yachts Develops New Expedition Cruise Ship Conceptual Design

Sea Master Consulting & Engineering entered into agreement with naval architect and designer Jesus Franco for setting up of a new and dynamic company, Sea Master Yachts, involved in ship design of all kind of luxury passenger vessels.

The objective of the company is to be able to attend the strong demand existing in the market making use of the synergies between the two parties.

Sea Master is independently operating engineering and design company with a focus on the maritime sector for complex ship design. It has extensive experience in complex engineering projects with shipyards in Norway, Finland, Netherlands and Spain.

Engineering Business Unit Manager, Jose Manuel Flores Osuna, said that the new company “Sea Master Yachts” had developed a new conceptual design for an expedition cruise ship, called Galiano Explorer. It is designed to explore the most extreme polar seas, and able to accommodate 140 passengers onboard.

The 110-metre, state-of-the-art cruise ship, will be able to sail in compiance with the highest standards onboard that this kind of ships demands.

“Galiano Explorer” features Zodiac loading system for quick and safe loading / unloading for onshore exploration. The expedition tools of the vessel include kayaks, cross-country skis and helicopter landing platform.

During the navigation, guests can enjoy lectures and workshops by the expedition team as well as spend time at the observation lounge and outdoor observation area.
