PortMiami is kicking off 2018-2019 cruise season via welcoming an estimated 52,000 cruise ship passengers on Sunday, December 9. This sets a one-day record for cruise passenger traffic at the port.
The team of PortMiami, from safety, security, maintenance, customer and operations service to other industry partners, is now ready to welcome guests from all over to the world's Cruise Capital. All operations are already in place to handle 9 of the most modern and innovative cruise ships in industry.
PortMiami will be welcoming the liners Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic, Disney Magic, MSC Divina, Norwegian Getaway, Oceania Riviera, Allure of the Seas, Empress of the Seas, and the high-speed catamaran San Gwann (owned by FRS Caribbean - German shipping company serving the ferry route Miami-Bimini Islands).
