Dubai City’s Roads and Transport Authority commenced the operation of the Dubai Ferry route for tourists and residents of Emaar linking Dubai Mall (world's most-visited retail destination / located in Downtown Dubai) and Dubai Marina Mall (owned by Emaar Malls / subsidiary of Emaar Properties).

The new ferry service links two of the most popular lifestyle destinations in the port city via an environment-friendly transport service. The new transportation option builds on an earlier agreement signed between city’s Roads and Transport Authority and Emaar Properties’ At the Top, Burj Khalifa in order to promote ferry tickets sales to the tourist attraction in Dubai's iconic tower.

The ferry crossing time is about 80 min (one-way) and will offer Emaar’s population a new perspective to the skyline of the city. Assuring great views from The Palm Islands to all of the skyscrapers along Dubai Canal and Sheikh Zayed Road, the ferry is scheduled to cruise between two stations (Dubai Marina and Al Wajeha Al Maeyah), with added complimentary shuttle service to The Dubai Mall and back.

Tickets are priced AED 68.25 per adult and AED 52.5 for kids from 5 to 12 years.
