Royal Caribbean Passengers Banned for Life from the Cruise Line

A passenger sailing on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship was banned for life from the line after jumping from an 11th-floor balcony.

27-year-old Nick Naydev was traveling on Symphony of the Seas with friends when he decided to make the leap while the vessel was docked in Nassau, Bahamas.

In a video posted to Instagram, the Washington-based passenger is seen standing on the edge of the balcony with his friends looked on. A few seconds later, after grinning at the camera, he jumps and plummets to the sea.

Despite the miraculous survival, the stupid stunt came with some injuries. Nick told people on Instagram that it was his neck and tailbone that hurt. He adds he was still drunk from the previous night and when he woke up, he decided to jump. Could barely walk for three days and could "barely sleep from the pain."

The passenger was later picked up by a small boat but when he made it back to shore, was told to get his stuff and leave the cruise ship.

All of the men in the group were told to leave Symphony of the Seas and were banned for life by Royal Caribbean.
