Port Canaveral's Cruise Terminal 8 is getting an upgrade in order to accommodate 3 new ships of Disney.
Coming in 2021, 2022, and 2023, they will hold at least 1,250 cabins each. One of the newbuilds will be 1119 feet (341 metres) long, making it fleet's longest by just 4 ft.
The name 'Disney Triton' was on the agenda of the Port Commission meeting, meaning that it could be the name of a new vessel or even a new class.
Triton, a son of Poseidon, is a demigod of the sea. A lower part of his body is like that of a fish.
