Explora Journeys has detailed its holiday programming for late 2025, offering Caribbean itineraries aboard EXPLORA I and the newly delivered EXPLORA II. The line’s thematic framework for this season, “Currents of Connection,” reflects its aim to foster reflective travel through immersive experiences, both onboard and ashore.

The approach emphasizes a deliberate and unhurried pace, echoing the movement of the ocean currents from which the theme draws its name. Through this concept, the cruise line intends to create continuity across its Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s sailings, with an emphasis on meaningful engagement, seasonal culinary events, and cultural discovery.

Onboard activities during the voyages will include traditional celebrations, wellness programming aligned with seasonal mindfulness practices, and curated entertainment such as live performances and open-air cinema screenings. The ships will be adorned for the holidays, while the hospitality and culinary offerings will be tailored to reflect festive customs, with specialty menus and gala dinners among the highlights.

Itineraries range between seven and seventeen nights and feature ports such as Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas, Terre-de-Haut in Les Saintes, Bridgetown in Barbados, Fort-de-France in Martinique, and Basseterre in St. Kitts and Nevis. These destinations offer varied coastal and cultural experiences, including opportunities for beach excursions, historical tours, and nature-based activities such as reef kayaking or volcano hikes.

Guests will also have the option to spend New Year’s Eve in locations like San Juan, Puerto Rico, where fireworks displays are expected to complement the onboard festivities. According to the line, each voyage is designed to integrate the ocean’s pace with regional identity, aligning with the broader brand philosophy of fostering an “Ocean State of Mind.”

EXPLORA I and II, both positioned in the Caribbean during the festive season, represent the core of the company’s offering, combining the architectural style of contemporary luxury with itineraries focused on slow travel, cultural immersion, and onboard tranquility.
