Crystal River Cruises Introduces Spring 2019 Getaways

Inviting guests to sail along the Danube, Crystal River Cruises announced 4 “Crystal River Getaways” departing March and April 2019. The 4- and 6-day itineraries are shortened segments of line's existing ten-day sailings, suited for passengers with busy schedules.

Crystal's new 2019 getaways are featured onboard Crystal Mozart and Crystal Mahler, and include:

  • 4-night Wachau Valley Getaway, departing March 29 and April 30 from Vienna (overnight) to Passau calling at Durnstein, Melk and Linz. The trip offers shoreside explorations of UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley via a bike or a helicopter, Vienna’s Imperial Schonbrunn Palace, Durnstein’s Schloss Gobelsburg Winery, as well as the city highlights and pastries of Linz.
  • 6-night Danube Getaway, departing April 2 and May 4 from Passau (overnight) to Vienna (overnight), visiting Budapest (overnight) and Bratislava. The trip offers a Signature Event at the Budapest History Museum in Buda Castle and shoreside explorations of Bavarian forest and countryside, the culinary highlights of Bratislava, the Jewish heritage of Vienna, and more.
