Norwegian Sky Boasts After Drydock

Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sky was recently refurbished as part of the Norwegian Edge program.

Following a 3-week dry dock in Freeport, Norwegian Sky returned to her homeport of Miami FL boasting updated spaces, brand new venues, and completely redesigned corridors and staterooms.

All of the ship's food and beverage outlets were updated, and 8 new venues were introduced, including Sugarcane Mojito Bar, pub-style eatery The Local Bar & Grill, poolside bar Topsiders, full-service Starbucks licensed store, La Cucina for classic Italian fare, late-night venues Spinnaker Lounge and Bliss Ultra Lounge, and new to the fleet Pinnacle Lounge and Sushi Bar, providing original and traditional sushi concepts.

Other upgrades include the complimentary venues Palace and Crossings Main Dining Rooms, The Great Outdoors and Garden Cafe, and specialty restaurants Le Bistro and Cagney’s. All bars and lounges were also refreshed.

All NCL Sky's staterooms were upgraded with USB outlets, new flat TVs, new carpeting, artworks, LED lighting, furniture, balcony decking. Owner’s Suites now feature hot tubs and renovated bathrooms.

The epicenter of the ship, its Atrium, has been revitalized with a refreshed look including refurbished reception and shore excursion desk areas, the addition of lounge seating, and updated flooring. Pool deck was updated with new furniture and deck flooring, redesigned beach area, additional canopies.
