A trio of chefs, including Marte Marie Forsberg, Jose Pizarro, and Kjartan Skjelde, partnered with P&O Cruises in order to bring an authentic taste of the destinations visited by its upcoming ship Iona when she debuts next year.
- Forsberg is designing a variety of local dishes that will appear in Taste 360 and Norwegian-inspired options for the other main restaurants aboard the new ship.
- P&O Iona will spend a maiden winter season in Portugal, Spain, and the Canaries. As such, passengers will be able to enjoy menus specially created by Spanish chef Pizarro. He will prepare tapas dishes for one of the restaurants aboard, The Glass House, and signature Spanish dishes like paella to Taste 360.
- The vessel will also spend time in the Norwegian Fjords. There, Norwegian chef Skjelde together with photographer and home cook Forsberg will bring the local flavours aboard. Skjelde has developed a 6-course Norwegian tasting menu for Iona's The Epicurean restaurant.
