Costa Mediterranea Suffers Lifeboats Accident in Norway

The Costa Mediterranea cruise ship could not hoist 2 of her lifeboats back to their davits, while holding a lifeboat exercise at Stavanger on June 1st.

A floating crane had to be deployed in order to put the lifeboats back and secure them. The departure of the Costa ship was delayed until late June 1.

Stavanger was the last stop on the ship's itinerary before completing her voyage in Bremerhaven.

Nobody was injured during the accident.
