Celebrity Cruises has implemented changes to upcoming Caribbean itineraries for Celebrity Beyond, citing ongoing limitations with the vessel’s max speed. These changes come after the July 20th sailing was cancelled and the ship was temporarily docked at a shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas for repairs. Following this maintenance period, Celebrity Beyond resumed service from Miami on July 27th.
Despite the repairs, speed-related issues persist, prompting the company to revise future port schedules to maintain operational reliability and guest safety. Passengers sailing on Celebrity Beyond in August, September, and October 2025 have been notified of revised port call dates for both Eastern and Western Caribbean voyages.
One such modification affects the September 7th itinerary, now visiting Falmouth, Jamaica on Wednesday from 08:00 to 16:00, and Cozumel, Mexico on Friday from 11:00 to 19:30. The port call in George Town, Grand Cayman has also been adjusted, with revised hours from 07:00 to 16:00. Guests with pre-purchased shore excursions will have their bookings automatically adjusted to reflect the new schedule.
Celebrity Cruises stated in guest communications that the changes were made to ensure a smooth and safe sailing experience while maintaining the integrity of the itinerary. The next scheduled dry dock for Celebrity Beyond is slated for November 2026, marking its first major overhaul since its launch in spring 2022. The vessel is not listed for passenger service between November 1 and 17, 2026, suggesting that the period will be allocated for maintenance.
