Celebrity Beyond deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Celebrity Beyond deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Celebrity Cruises deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Celebrity Beyond cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Celebrity Beyond staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Celebrity Beyond (2022-built) is the third of five "EDGE-class" Celebrity Cruises ships, following Celebrity Edge (2018) and Celebrity Apex (2021), and preceding Celebrity Ascent (2023) and Celebrity Xcel (2025).
Celebrity Beyond deck plans show a total of 1,646 staterooms for 3,276 passengers (maximum capacity 3,950), served by 1,400 crew members (726 crew cabins). Of all staterooms: 81% are Balcony, 10% Oceanview, and 9% Inside. There are 1,305 triple and quad occupancy cabins, 178 connecting cabins, and 25 wheelchair-accessible cabins.
The ship has 16 decks (15 accessible to passengers, 10 with cabins) and 32 food and beverage venues, including 15 restaurants (4 main dining rooms, 5 cafes, and 6 specialty restaurants debuting on the fleet) and 12 bars and lounges. Onboard circulation is supported by 12 elevators and 4 stairway clusters.
The new "Infinite Veranda" category features cabins that are 23% larger and bathrooms that are 10% larger compared to Solstice-Class balcony cabins. In-cabin automation allows passengers to control lighting, window shades, temperature, media, and room service via touchscreen technology.
New Features (Edge-Class Ship Design Changes)
Compared to her sisterships Apex and Edge, Celebrity Beyond is 20 m (66 ft) longer, one deck taller, has 179 more staterooms, and is approximately 12% larger (gross tonnage 140,600). She also introduces major design changes with expanded public spaces and several new venues.
New and redesigned areas on Celebrity Beyond include Le Voyage (a 50-seat specialty restaurant by Daniel Boulud), an updated Luminae (Suite-only restaurant designed by South African-born British designer Kelly Elaine Hoppen), a redesigned Pool Deck, an expanded Rooftop Garden (deck 15, with more shaded seating, two infinity pools, and a larger Rooftop Grill Bar), a doubled-in-size Sunset Bar (aft on deck 15), and an enlarged Retreat (Suite-only bar lounge forward on deck 15).
- The Resort Deck (deck 14) features a 23 m (75 ft) lap pool with in-pool chaise loungers, a terraced sundeck, two-deck-high martini glass-shaped whirlpools, sunken seating areas, and a full-size elephant sculpture.
- Sunset Bar (deck 15) is a Casablanca, Morocco-themed outdoor lounge with a pergola-covered entrance, cascading terraces, private enclaves, and conversation nooks.
- The Retreat is a three-deck-high, forward-midship exclusive complex for Suite guests, consisting of The Retreat Lounge (deck 15), the Lower Sundeck (deck 16, with a glass roof over The Solarium pool on deck 14), and The Retreat Sundeck (deck 17). Amenities include a bar, private cabanas (for rent), premium lounge furniture, a round pool, two plunge pools (cantilevered hot tubs), outdoor showers, and restrooms.
- Le Voyage Restaurant (50-seat capacity) is a collaboration with Daniel Boulud, Michelin-starred chef and owner of seven NYC restaurants and six others worldwide. The venue offers a refined menu and premium wine selection with service by expert sommeliers. Designed by Jouin Manku, Le Voyage features intimate seating cocoons and signature designer lighting.
WKK Architects' Tom Wright redesigned and expanded key outdoor spaces including the Resort Deck, The Retreat, and Rooftop Garden. The Resort Deck is about 40% larger than that on Apex and Edge.
The three-deck Grand Plaza (an open-floor midship atrium) is larger, enabling the Martini Bar to be placed at the venue’s center (Lobby level/deck 2) as a full-circle bar. The Grand Plaza chandelier has a redesigned shape and is illuminated with hundreds of LED lights.
Celebrity Beyond also introduces AquaClass SkySuites, offering floor-to-ceiling views, large private terraces, premium bedding, and wellness amenities. The ship marks the beginning of a new wellness partnership with Gwyneth Paltrow, who serves as Celebrity Cruises’ “Well-Being Advisor.” Since 2022, AquaClass passengers (fleetwide, excluding Galapagos ships) receive complimentary wellness perks including goop-branded fitness kits and personalized wellness programming under the “Women in Wellness” initiative.
Celebrity Beyond also includes hallmark features of Edge-Class ships:
- A two-level atrium stairway overlooking a terrace with a 1 m (3 ft) deep plunge pool.
- Pool Deck 14 (midship) is a resort-style outdoor area with a lap pool, sea-facing chaise loungers, a large LED screen, and six cabanas (for rent). At night, it transforms into an entertainment space with live music and movies. The cabanas are on the starboard side and offer premium seating, high ceilings, and ocean views.
- Rooftop Garden is a modern, plant-filled lounge with cozy seating, ambient lighting, live greenery, and an LED screen for movies and media. By night, it transforms into a reservations-only venue with live performances, dining pairings, and starlit movies.
- "Luminae at The Retreat" is a specialty restaurant on two levels with floor-to-ceiling windows.
- The Solarium is a tranquil, adults-only relaxation space.
- Pool Deck includes one lap pool (23 m / 75 ft), two whirlpools, and a two-deck walking/jogging track (400 m / 1,320 ft).
Celebrity Beyond offers "frictionless arrival" check-in using geofenced beacons and facial recognition. Staterooms are accessible via smartphone using the Celebrity "Virtual Concierge" app. Every aspect of the stateroom can be controlled through a touchscreen panel—lighting, air-conditioning, curtains, alarms, media, and more. The app also allows guests to book dining, spa, and classes, order food or laundry, and access a digital map that adjusts based on the device’s location.
Magic Carpet ("Outdoor Elevator Lounge")
A signature feature of the EDGE-class ships is the "Magic Carpet"—a glass-roofed, cantilevered platform the size of a tennis court that moves vertically across 14 decks. Positioned on the starboard side, this open-air venue offers panoramic ocean views, lounge seating, a full bar, and a stage for live music. The Magic Carpet changes its function and location, acting as a "traveling venue."
Guests cannot ride the Magic Carpet as an elevator. It is securely locked in place at each designated deck before passengers can access it. No guests are onboard while it is being repositioned, and some of its furniture is fixed in place.
The platform transforms into a different venue depending on the deck where it is stationed:
- Deck 16 – Becomes a specialty restaurant for "Dinner on the Edge," offering alfresco dining under the stars.
- Resort Deck 14 – Serves as an extension of the pool area with live music performances.
- Dining Deck 5 – Functions as an alfresco dining annex to the ship’s main dining room.
- Tendering Deck 2 – Becomes an extension of the Destination Gateway, used during tender operations. This area features large LCD screens (displaying destination and port information), air-conditioning, and seating for 130 guests.
"Destination Gateway" serves as the embarkation point when Magic Carpet is at Deck 2, supporting tender operations with the luxury "Edge Launches" used for going ashore.
The Magic Carpet’s daily repositioning schedule is published onboard.
