Celebrity Infinity deck plans

Celebrity Infinity (2001-built, “Solsticized” in 2011, last refurbished in January 2024, and underwent a "Celebrity Revolution" refurbishment in November 2020) is the second of the Celebrity Cruises Millennium-class ships, along with Constellation, Millennium, and Summit.

Celebrity Infinity cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 1,085 staterooms accommodating 2,170 passengers (max capacity 2,604), served by 1,000 crew. The vessel has 12 passenger decks (7 with cabins), 9 restaurants and food bars (including 4 specialty venues), 11 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools (one covered), 6 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), and 10 elevators.

The ship does not offer self-service laundry facilities. Laundry, dry-cleaning, and pressing services are available for an additional fee (charged per item).

Cruise ship Internet "Xcelerate"

Since 2016, Celebrity Infinity guests have access to “Xcelerate” – high-speed Internet available throughout the ship’s itinerary (in port and at sea). This advanced satellite technology ensures stable and fast VPN connections, allowing smooth web browsing and HD video streaming.

• The Xcelerate Internet service supports music and HD video streaming (including YouTube and Netflix), uploading large photo files, and video chatting (via FaceTime, Skype).
• Xcelerate Internet packages can be purchased either onboard or in advance. Unlimited Internet pricing varies by cruise length – USD 140 (5- to 9-day itineraries) and USD 199 (10-day or longer). Guests who book “Go Big” promotional deals receive unlimited Internet as a complimentary amenity.

Celebrity Infinity plan changes – 2015 refurbishment review

The vessel’s last drydock was in February 2021 at Navantia Shipyard in Cadiz, Spain. The 16-day drydocking focused on general maintenance and technical upgrades: new valves, propellers, stabilizers, sliders, and sonars (echo sounders), cleaning and repainting the hull and superstructure (excluding passenger decks), propulsion system inspection, and lifeboat servicing.

Following the 2015 drydock refurbishment (October 15–29 at Freeport, Bahamas), several deck plan changes were made:

On Sports Deck 12, a new relaxation and entertainment area was added aft, named “Rooftop Terrace,” replacing part of the stern sundeck. Rooftop Terrace is a versatile venue with modular furniture and cabanas, operating as an outdoor bar lounge by day. At night, it transforms with decorative lighting, and movies or entertainment are screened on a large LED screen. The experience includes themed food offerings, with signature dishes served in creative vessels reflecting the cruise itinerary or special occasions.

On Plaza Deck 3, the “SS United States” restaurant was replaced with the “Tuscan Grille” steakhouse, offering freshly made pasta, an Italian cocktail menu, Italian wine selection, and premium meats (including USDA dry-aged steak). A new Future Cruise Sales office was added (separate from the Captain’s Club), along with a new portrait studio. The Cinema was redesigned to serve as a Conference Center.

On Deck 5, a new retail store was added. Deck 11 saw the addition of the Qsine restaurant. Renovations were also completed in the Casino (Deck 4 Promenade) and the adults-only Solarium complex (Deck 10 Lido), which received new furniture and flooring. On the Lido Deck, the pool area and AquaSpa Café were also refurbished. The Casino's themed décor was removed.

Major renovations were completed in all Suite categories (Royal Suites and Penthouse Suites), including new furniture and upgraded amenities. Enhancements included upgraded bathrooms (with marble surfaces, new seating, and lighting), new carpeting, drapes, and linens.

This refurbishment project also covered Celebrity Summit (drydocked February–March 2016) and cost Celebrity Cruises USD 16 million in total.

Celebrity Infinity plan changes – 2011 refurbishment review

Following the November 2011 drydock refurbishment, the following upgrades were implemented:

• 60 new passenger cabins were added.
• 107 balcony cabins were converted to AquaClass Spa cabins.
• All Sky Suites (mini-suites) received updated and refurbished balconies.
• Celebrity iLounge (Apple product retailer, Internet café, and enrichment class venue) was added.
• Bistro on Five (creperie) was introduced on Deck 5. In 2016, it was renamed “Sushi on Five.”
• On Promenade Deck 4 (midship starboard, Grand Foyer area), two new bars were added – Martini Bar and Crush Bar.
• Michael’s Club menu was expanded to include over 60 craft beers.
• Wi-Fi was upgraded to provide full shipwide coverage.
• On Lido Deck 10, the pool deck sunbathing area was refurbished with new loungers, and new fitness equipment was installed in the gym.

Significant renovations were also carried out across all passenger cabins and public spaces, including new flat-screen TVs, carpeting, tiling, furniture, and upholstery.
