Norfolk Improves Its Cruise Terminal to Accommodate Larger Ships

In an effort to dock larger cruise liners, Port Norfolk VA is currently studying what improvements have to be made at the current cruise pier.

Norfolk's cruise terminal (“Decker Half Moone Cruise & Celebration Center”) was inaugurated in 2007. It has served as a key homeport for a variety of cruise companies and could possibly be making major improvements in the near future.

There is a study that is looking into expanding operations as well as being able to handle much bigger cruise ships.
