UnCruise Adventures has opened bookings for its 2028 Aleutian Islands programme and will more than double capacity on its Aleutian Islands Adventure with Dutch Harbor & Kodiak itinerary.
The cruise line will replace the 36-guest Safari Explorer with the 74-guest Wilderness Explorer, citing strong demand for the programme. The itinerary made its debut in 2025 and, according to the company, sold out within days.
Wilderness Explorer is scheduled to operate eight 10-night departures between June 2nd and August 15th, 2028, sailing between Seward and Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
The itinerary includes calls and visits to Kenai Fjords National Park, Katmai National Park, Ugashik National Wildlife Refuge, Aniakchak National Monument, the Shumagin Islands and Akutan Village. Activities include glacier viewing, kayaking, skiff excursions, hiking and wildlife observation, with opportunities to see seals, puffins, sea otters, brown bears and eagles.
The US-flagged Wilderness Explorer is currently undergoing renovation work in Seattle. The programme includes steelwork, installation of a new watermaker and upgrades to the galley, lounge, bar and dining room. The vessel is equipped with a platform for launching kayaks and skiffs and carries an expedition guide team. The cruise fare includes adventure activities, meals and locally sourced Alaskan seafood.
UnCruise Adventures is offering an early-booking discount of US$350 per person on all 2028 departures reserved by October 31st, 2026.
