During the 7th Hamburg Cruise Days (September 13-15 cruising-themed festival), the port of the city will be setting the stage for the cruise fans and cruise industry.

With 12 participating cruise liners, this will be the world's biggest public cruise festival. Shortly before the event, Hamburg City will host Europe's leading cruise industry fair - Seatrade Europe.

Starting on September 11, the city is expected to transform its seaport into a stage. On land and on the water, visitors will be able to take part in a rich programme which includes a spectacular parade of cruise ships, harbour illuminations, firework displays, culinary experiences, live music, special promotions, as well as harbour boat trips and ship presentations.

With the cruise-themed week and numerous other maritime events, the port is arguably among the most exciting urban ports.

When it comes to the current season, Hamburg can once again be satisfied: a total of 210 cruise liners are expected to arrive at the city’s 3 cruise terminals by the end of 2019.
