The Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line ship Grand Celebration returned Sunday morning, September 8, following a successful humanitarian trip from homeport West Palm Beach Florida to Freeport Bahamas.

The vessel carried over 150 pallets of much-needed supplies, 200 volunteers, and around 300 first responders. Grand Celebration also brought home two hundred Bahamian residents who had become stranded in South Florida due to Hurricane Dorian.

When the cruise ship returned to South Florida, she was carrying over 1,100 Bahamian residents evacuated because of the storm.

While the vessel was docked in Freeport, medical personnel visited various facilities to check on patients as well as administer aid when necessary, that included helping a pregnant woman give birth.
