Over 0,5 million tourists visited over the weekend Germany for the 7th Hamburg Cruise Days. With a record number of 12 participating cruise liners, the event became world's largest cruise festival.
The spectacular parade was Saturday night's highlight: accompanied by 20 escort vessels, a grand fireworks show and 5 cruise vessels navigating down the Elbe River - AIDAperla, MS Europa, Mein Schiff 4, MSC Preziosa, and World Explorer.
Not only the ships were celebrated during the event, but also the topic of the industry's sustainability was discussed.
